Was wondering if someone with more experience than me, living in central florida area, could let me know how good my chances of finding some mushrooms are in Tampa Bay area. From what I have read, the weather looks permitting, but I'm not an expert so just wanted your opinion before I waste an evening

Haven't read the rules, I take it.

From the rules:

3. Do not ask if the current weather is "good for shrooms."
These threads are flat out annoying, and will be locked. This information can easily be found with a little bit of research.
As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 2-3 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, then *yes* it is possible that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.

Please read the rules of this forum before further posting(they're stickied at the top of this forum).
