casing+terrariums

when you grow w/ a casing do you need a terrarium or can you just moisten the substrate real good in between flushes.I need to be discrete and a terrarium isn't a good idea for me.I was thinking of the neglect tek but the yeild seems small.also w/ a casing would I just put a little perlite/vermic base,then broken up cakes,and another layer of perlite/vermiculite.This is what I understand of it please correct me if i'm wrong,

A terrarium or other protective shelter tends to keep the contamns to a minimum if you've got a clean set-up. Read a posting that Anno responded to. It's only a couple of days old at the most. In his response he put in a link to follow for some real good casing information. Follow that link and read. I'm sure most of your questions will be answered with a little study into the document.
