Folding #
    #3618834 - 01/12/05 05:15 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

I've recently started running Folding@Home, and was reading on the number of each of the individual projects at http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/allprojects#160 . But I can't find what number my project is on the software, it only says "p1338_p1332..." and so on, and underneath it Tinker Core. Where does it say your project number, or does it even say it?

I'm asking if you can tell which project you're working on. For example, at the link http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/allprojects#160, one project says:

"Project 183
Project 183 examines the high temperature unfolding of an all-beta protein 1I6C. This protein is an isomerase- an enzyme which helps other proteins change their structure. The main focus of the study is trying to see how the protein behaves after it is exposed to high temperature of 600 K. "

Is your p586 the project, meaning that you're working project 586 under that link? It says I'm currently working on P1138_P1132_L939_K12N, and underneath Tinker core, but I'm not sure if it says which project you're working on under that link.

it does. some of the projects are newer (like yours I think) so they don't have any info about it currently.

this is the page I was looking for earlier:

http://vspx27.stanford.edu/psummary.html

it lists the overall info about each project such as name, # of atoms, days to do unit, credit, etc. and gives a link to a description of the particular project.

just use the link I just posted and play around with it some. your p1138 project has no info, sorry.
