hello like minds,
i was recently givin a small gift as a b-day present (which is today)
i would like to consider myself an ameture entheomycologist and have been growing for about 7 yers. so my question s - that in all my growing time i have never seen anything like these. all the info i could find is that they are referd to as the indian eye (in the stropharia catagory)this is all he could tell me and that they are from india. there is no bluing at all on them ,the caps are a lite tan to golden coler wth upturned rims similar to P. Cyan.(wavy cap)size ranges from 1/2 in to 2 in in diamiter. the gills ar a very dark black coler. if any one can tell me if this is a true variaty that would be great. id rather not kick the bucket on my b-day.

Probably more in the hunting forum, they do lots of id's. Post with pictures, too, and a spore print if you can.

Perhaps a mod will be nice and move it there for you :>
