Mycelium "weird" growth?

So my friend innoculated 8 jars, and for a week, nothing.
Then, some "cottony" growth appears. She says "hooray". Weird though, the mycelium is growing "around" where she innoculated. Check this whack picture out to see what I mean:
( 0 ) the ( and ) represent the crazy cottony growth of the mycelium network, and the 0 represents the point where the needle squirted its magical juice into the jar. So she wants to know, is this normal? Even if it isn't, things will still work out right? She really hopes it will work.

Okay, she now has another thing to ask: She's been using the hippie neglect tek. She gives the jars about 15 min of light a day. Not sun light, but regular incadescent light. She would like to know if the mycelium is suntanning enough, or should she expose them a bit more?

Hey, where's the biggest marijuana forum at? I go to cannabisculture.com, and it's big, but no where near as big as this place is. So I'm guessing, since pot is more popular than shrooms, there should be a big-ass forum out there?

I just cant believe how big this forum is. A new post every 30 seconds.

i always read the forums at cannabisculture.com.. maybe pot growers just aren't as organized : )
