Outdoor Karo Tek

Just a thought. This is for those that live in the cyan/azure/ fib areas. What if we got garden pump sprayers, filled them with karo water and scraped a few spore prints in them. Then sprayed away. I know that contams would be an issue but i think it might be minor. Outdoors molds dont do as well as mycelium. Cyan and azure mycel can usally fight off others. Would the psi in a pump sprayer crush the spores? This is my next tek!!! IM getting a clean spray bottle and a cyan print. Fillin it with karo and a full print and spraying it on a pile of wood chips. What do you think.

Dude.. no. No way.
You plan on spraying karo/water with some spores in it, hoping they germinate AND grow fast enough to fend off anything else that would benefit from the simple nutrients? That's just silly- not to mention the amount of bugs/animals that would likely consume it well before anything happened.
Now, a better idea might be to make a decent sized karo jar, let it grow out a considerable amount, and make up an outdoor bed (a la Moe's Tek) and dump the live mycelium/karo between layers. That STILL probably wouldn't work, but it'd have a MUCH better chance than spraying the stuff.
That's my .02

Who said it worked well? (Not saying otherwise, I just missed that part.. )
By all means, go ahead. And if you do decide to try it, please make a grow log! That way if you're successful, others can try as well.

This does work for sure. As for the non sterile version of the tek i don't know. But cyan and azures will take over and beat out competitors. So if the Karo helps the spores germinate they will have a good chance beating out other bacterias. I know its a long shot but even with a 99% failure rate it will still work. As long as the cyan gets a foot hold on the wood chips.
-------------------- Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
