An introduction of myself to the Shroomies

Hello everyone!

I have come across a great resource here. A collective pool of active minds, free thinkers, educators, and cooperators. Awesome. My friend referred me to this forum in attempt to help me utilize my brain and partake in some excellent discussions. He says it will be refreshing having another female poster that has some things to say. I hope this is the case! I am excited to partake with you all!

Presently, I have chosen to reside temporarily in Texas (though I am full hearted ANTI-BUSH!) I am working with a small group of my friends (all from 20-21 years of age), including the referrer, to build our "tribe". It is so important and so logical to build a strong support network. Though I am heartily against Dependency, it makes too much sense not to have a group of like minded individuals to push you and to push to continue to grow, to provide valuable resources and to adventure with. I am at this time the only female in my "tribe", which has been a challenge but then again I sometimes find it hard to relate to most females.

I would like to try and convey the meaning of my member ID: FreeLaws1_6. It has been my foremost mission to work to free myself. Though there are many realms in which it is essential to free ones self, such as financially, these "Laws" specifically refer to my mission to free me (my consciousness...myself.) I do understand that the title "Freedom Laws" in itself is an oxymoron, hehe, but the point is still clear. Here are the "Laws" that I have come up with that I MUST incorporate into my schemas before I am free:

1. I am Alone: there is no "always", no magic, no true understanding of me by others and vice versa, there is only me and what I can do for me.
2. There is Nothing: there are no real answers to life written somewhere that I must simply brush dirt off of to find. No actions I take really matter in the scheme of the universe, time, and infinite space.
3. I must actualize myself and do it only for me: educating myself in order to present things to others is weak and worthless. I must live and learn for me.
4. Sex is a tool for pleasure, not status!: I should be able to be desired to be around even if I was mangled and ugly (women are quite often defined by their sexuality, we can usually get by with that alone if we do it right).
5. Dependency restricts me: monogamy, friendships, environments- all can be dangerous if I depend on them. I have to choose everything I do and use.
6. Emotions are dangerous if not administered properly: Logic must determine my actions and emotions. I must be in control of my emotions enough that I can "play them like a VHS tape whenever I want them".

I'm sorry if that is too long of a blip about me for ya. I really think that those "Laws" truly define who I am and strive to be at this time in my life, so it seems appropriate to share them with you all so that you can get to know me.

Things I am really going to be enthusiastic about and posting about will be of course psychedelics, politics, religion, philosophy, and alternative living. But I am also really excited about the possibility of helping others and trying to teach and learn- so I will be exploring all topics! I am more than happy to hear questions you may have about me and would love to have personal chats with anyone!
