Choosing a Strain for the First-Time Grower

Which strain of cubensis would be the best to start out with for a first time PF cake setup? I have heard a lot of good things about B+, but I'd rather get some opinions from some seasoned cultivators before I go making my decision. Naturally it'd be nice to use a strain that has good flush sizes, as well as potency (which I'm sure also has a lot to do with the actual cultivation of the strain itself). If you could recommend a vendor as well, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

argentines, texans, ecuadors, hawaiins to name a few. ive heard of b+ not being as potent as other strains. ralphsters and the little guy have a good reputation.

my b+ is doing fantastic! this is my first grow. whichever strain you decide to work with, just make sure all your conditions are optimal and i'm sure you'll have a pleasant harvest. i mean research...yeah.

Things can only get so potent with your first grow. That maximum potency point can be reached by any of the p. cubensis strains available. To bring out MORE potency in one strain to the next is a matter of conditions. No one knows which strains will be best supported by your conditions until you try a bunch. Some people love one strain, some people swear by another. One guy's tests show one thing, another guy's tests show another. Point being is most of them are like myself, and are working in a lab made from Wally World. Having said that, GT may grow freaking great for me, but crappy for you. On the other hand, your B+ may thrive whereas mine take weeeeeeeks longer. You should do just like phantasm said and close your eyes to pick.
Same thing goes for yields, incubation times and of course, the substrate you are using will be better for some, and not so good for others.
All in my humble opinion of course.

if you are growing on cakes then get the pf classic. its the strongest. eq's are weak pieces of shit
-------------------- Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
