How moist should dung be when its been ininoculated with pf-cakes?Slighty moist, wet, really wet?
Please help thanks!

TMC says 74-76% moisture in horsemanure/straw bulk sub. to determine take wet sample, weigh it, then dry it in an oven untill completely dry. divide dryweight/wet weight then multiply by 100 to get a non decimal percentage.

Thanks! although I dont think I'll be doing that. 74-76% moisture is pretty high so I'll guess it has to pretty wet not drenched though.

Usually when I am working with dung I had just enough water so that when you take some in your hand and squeeze it maybe one, two, or no drops drip.
