Can this happen ?

Soory my foaf has no camera to take a pic...He tells me he's growing PF classic on BRF cakes and it his 2nd flush...'cept the caps look like a different shroom. The caps that are forming are more nipple like than rounded and the stems are not as fat and are a lil longer ..like almost a 1/3 longer then the 1st flush. Other wise everything is the same(cap color,ect).
Are these shrooms ok?
Is this nothing to worry about ?
Is it a different spices than he thought he had ?
What causes this ?

This is what is referred to as 'shapeshifting'. It is perfectly normal. Some strains are more prone to this than others. The pf hawaiian is a helluva shapeshifter, each flush looks different than the one before.

Quit worrying :)
