cant really tell from the bottom photo, but are those green spots in the middle of the mycellium?

the first pic, the yellow could be mycellium piss, but im not totally sure. what does the cake smell like?

I think the green stuff's just grains of that top layer reflecting at a weird angle...

Mycelium piss? The cake smells clean now...

I have wrapped the sides in tin foil since I took the picture to prevent side-pinning. Does anyone think that this is what's happening in my first picture?

Also how long until things will start popping up on the surface under the right conditions? (light, humidity etc.)

Looks good to me. Make sure that container has drainage holes in the bottom. Also, since its got clear sides consider covering them so that the mycelium doesn't get exposed to light there and start sending out pins that will grow in awkward places. Duct tape is always a nice tool to use, or some dark construction paper, newspaper, something like that. I'd say start fanning, misting, etc now. Other than that, it all looks gravy. Good luck!

"There is a world beyond ours, a world that is far away, nearby, and invisible. And there is where God lives, where the dead live, the spirits and the saints, a world where everything has already happened and everything is known. That world talks. It has a language of its own. I report what it says. The sacred mushroom takes me by the hand and brings me to the world where everything is known. It is they, the sacred mushrooms, that speak in a way I can understand. I ask them and they answer me. When I return from the trip that I have taken with them, I tell what they have told me and what they have shown me."
