i was wondering if i would have success if i put some tetracycline inside of my substrate before sterilization...it is a anti-biotic used for an assortment of things from acne to ear infucktions

i can believe its not butter but why would you do that

No way it will kill the mycelium, but Oxytertracycline is a poison to us humans. I have added it to OGG agar many times, it requires to wear gloves etc. I suppose putting it in the substrate will eventually get it in the shrooms.

Be very carefull with antibiotics, they can be harmfull!!!! I advice you:::: don't put this in your substrate if you like to live a little longer.
