When putting water inside a terrium what is the name of the chemical that you put in to kill bacteriea, and in what amount?

HCl is hydrochloric acid - not sure if it's antibacterial, chances are that it is, but you probably don't want to be putting this in your terrarium, assuming you know where to get some.

Isopropyl alcohol is definitely antibacterial, but if put in your terrarium would evaporate, filling the small space inside with some funky fumes that would possibly (probably) be harmful to the mycelium.

What you DO want is hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). You can buy it at your local drug store, K-mart, whatever. It comes already diluted down to 3% (in water) so that it won't explode or anything (in it's pure form, it's very unstable, and I think I even remember someone saying that NASA uses it as rocket fuel). I don't know what the recommended amount to put in would be, I'd just pour "some" in, use your own judgement.

This is all assuming you're using perlite or something similar. Simply putting a glass of water/H2O2 into a terrarium won't do all that much.

They use the H2 and the O2 seperaly in different tanks and then it is mixed while burining in gas form. Never actuly becomes H2O2. However they can make fuel from the H2O2 which is what they are looking for on other planets(with less atmospher) to make launch pads for rockets.

As for the amount I ahve seem a 10% h2o2 to 90% H2O but i belive with will slow down the growth so you may want to put even less H2O2. The has been asked a few times in the past a search under Cultivation and Advanced cultivation may yeild a lot of results.
