Weird colouring on cake (contam??)

I don't seem to be getting much response in the cultivation forum so I thought I'd try here. I've got a 1 pint cake in a terrarium which has developed white fuzz on the top (too high humidity I'm guessing).. but anyway, it has black spots on the tips of the mycelium and wherever I touch on the top of this fuzzy stuff it goes this dark black colour. Also, near the base of the cake the mycelium has turned this light-greenish-bluish colour.. is this all just bruising or contams?

When you touch a cake, the mycelium "bruises" also, when water falls on the cake, the cake will bruise as well. I bet the "black" color is more of a dark blue. I believe that your cake is just bruised, so you're fine.

About the black spots. I havn't gotten a straight answer, but if you notice your post isn't the only one about this. I have small black dots on my myclium too. Mine isn't growing or anything. Some say they are clumps of spores. I am not sure, maybe try to get a pic so the experts will have a better idea.

toss the cakes, is probably black pin mold....
a rule: when unsure toss it!

yeah if tis blue -(as in pen ink blue) then its probably bruising, otherwise it be bad...:-)
