If you post on a message board, you need to expect to get that shit. You are talking to the whole world when you post, and I guarantee there is someone out there that doesn't like what you say and will come back and call you an asshole, bigot, shithead, etc. That's Life. Can't take it, then don't post. And a 14 year old kid doesn't know shit about anything. I thought I knew everything when I was 14, but I realize now what an ignorant adolescent I was.

The problem here is...nobody wants to take the time and read, or search for anything (there are exceptions to that rule, of course.) I see the same questions day in and day out on these boards, and frankly, that's a little annoying. I can't even fathom how the same people keep answering those same questions over, and over, and over...

Jesus - just READ the boards, all the answers you are looking for are already out there (once again, I'm sure there are a few exceptions).

After reading the initial post this is about, I have this to say, if anyone cares:
yes some people were harsh.
yes that kid is doing what he should not be doing.

when you are a child, be as a child.. he was playing with tools that were / are somewhat beyond his controll..
when i was young i did alot of equally, and perhaps more dangerous things.. i made my own fireworks, explosives, wepons, amung a host of other dangers hobbies..
but i did not go about school showing off pictures..
hopefully our young poster will not be in a deal of trouble, and will not caus a downfall of this site.. yes there are many immatuer and bloated ego's, but there are many intelligent people ...
if you read the first post, or that i understood to be the first post, there was little anger, only reprimand and a request to prevent potential damage to the site..
calling the kid more mature than the people who were responding is useless.. when you attack people, most will respond in kind..
there are many intelligent and mature teenagers out there.. but unfortunately the vast majority is not so..
this site, back when it was primarily populated by college age and up posters had far fewer problems.. a legitimate gathering place people of simmilar interests.. and as more and more young people have come in, more uninformed flamers and egotistical posters have signed on.. it may not be them, but as the board grows, so do the unfortunate problems.. i did not post nor read this site for 6-8 months, the reasons for which you can find if you search through my old off topic posts.. when i returned, i was honestly shocked to see the changes i perceived to have taken place..
anyway..
just a little rant..
just because you can grow mushrooms (which for the most part is Ridiculously simple) does not mean that you are some super genius; does not mean you have a license to berate other people; does not mean that you are mature.. just because you can appreciate the effects does not mean that you are a super spiritual person.. if you use them "properly" (which varies from group to group and person to person) then you can benifit.. if you just want to get fucked up.. well you will.. but personally i find it honestly disrespectfull to seek such a state from something so beautifull..
anyway..

This place is just like the rest of the bb's that I attend........human

People are still going to be people. Some people feel better to belittle others. Some people feel better to help others. There are good people in the world, there are bad people in the world. No matter how you think people who ingest chemicals act or should act is irrelavent, people are still just people. I personally think this board is quite human (imperfect).
try to ignore the fools and listen to the wise ones. It may take a while to figure out one from the other.

I can't wait to see what they're teaching in Internet Sociology 101.

Same thing happened to me today mate . All I did was start a second thread with a completely different question on the topic of growing , and some guy who had previously wrote on my first topic started flaming me for no reason.. It's not just shroomery mate I've been on several different types of forums and there's asses everywhere. A lot of miserable people in this world.
