Reefer Stem Tea?

I have a few stems of some nice reefer i had earlier in the week/month, ive got a few small one, a couple medium ones, and a nice big one. Now apparantly a friend of mine brewed some of his stems into a tea, drank, and had a nice stony feeling for some while after they kicked in an hour later. Is this true? can i really brew my trimmings and throw aways into a tea and consume for a buzz? if so how can i do this effecetively?

a girl told me that worked once. she also thought drinking a shot of vodka with old bong water would get you high. she also thought snorting pop-rocks was a good idea. the also thought eating an entire 3 foot weed plant would get her high..... she also thought.... well.. never mind...she is the only person that told me it worked, so i think it fair to warn you what else she thought worked. but i think TCH is fat soluble, not so much water. you may need to put something in there to get the tch to come out. save em and make butter when you get a ton. will that work?????

I whent down to a friends place while they were harvesting their stash. When all was said and done they took the stem's and clippings and put about an oz worth into a pot with some green tea. Boiled the mixture up for about 10 minutes and strained threw a metal seive.
I had a cup and did get a nice buzz, not as good as if I were to have smoked any, but it was enjoyable and it does taste good mixed with green tea.
That was an Oz of shake and stems for 4 cups of tea. SO it probably will not be effective with just a few stems, but rather a large handfull.

i tried it was a bunch of stems and it didnt work for me, i thought it was because thc isnt soluable in water, only in fat, so i made some with milk and still no effect, it was nice and green though. i thought it tasted pleasant, so i drank it all but i didnt feel anything, and after 5 hours i was convinced it did nothing. try steeping it in high proof liquor overnight or something, they say green dragon has mild effects

"they say green dragon has mild effects" HAHAHAHA. They're idiots or have bad green dragon. It's not a water tea that you make. You do a full green-dragon-like extraction on a good amount of stems. StemCola

great recepie, i wish i had acess to a stove i could do that on, college students have a problem with that in the dorm. the green dragon extractions i was refering to just say to steep for a week or something like that, and its not as strong as making cannabutter, thats what i mean by mild, by a pothead's standard.

As far as I know THC isn't soluble in water, so soaking it in a water tea and straining wouldn't produce effects. If I were you I'd save all your stems til you have a good ounce or two of them and make some nice hash. I find that it's a great way to use stems considering most people just throw them away, and the hash is excellent.

ive been told that if you put a good ammount of stems in a fifth of very hard A (like 151), and let it sit there for like a month, you can feel the effects of the thc...but it could be tough to notice over the fifth of bacardi you just consumed..never tried it, but it might be worth looking into

I put all my clippings in boiling water, drank it and it was a mild body buzz, but definently worth it

Even cheaper that everclear, Rubbing alcohol, strongest avail. use the easy hash technique. (straining through coffee filters and using a double boiler, simmer off the alcohol). Tastes great and gets you fucked up. but you do need a good collection of stems.

If you want pot tea use milk.. Water is a waste.
Or even better just make butter and make toast.

I made a good tea once from all the crumbs and crystals that were leftover in about a hundred ziplock bags. I added s little olive oil for extraction. It produced a different stone than smoking it.
