2nd time grow bag question + 1st time results

Hi Everybody, This is my second time to try grow bags. The first time was, I feel, very successful with two bags yielding approximately 60 dried grams, though it took a little over 2 months for fruiting to start. That was during the summer. That's almost all gone now because somebody ate them.
4 months ago I started 4 new bags. 3 of the bags became contaminated. I feel it was the bags. They didn't look right and it took extra long for them to get to me from the vendor. The 4th bag, however, is hanging in there and even grew a primordia back on December 2. I still have faith that it will fruit, but I would feel better if someone else could tell me they've had this happen before... a long stall.
Any comments or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well I had a very very very very stalled growth where the I didn't see mycelium start growing until 10 days after inculanation and the reason seems to be is because the temp hoovered around 66-68 because my cousin is lazy and didn't want to fix the fish tank heater. Now i have incoluunatied new jars right and temp around 85 and its sooo much faster I noticed mycelium growth in 2 days. Maybe thats the problem.

Wow.. now that I've stopped laughing, I assume you mean inoculation and inoculated? The first time I saw that second word I thought it was an attempt at "incolonized" (un).
Aaaaanyway, yeah, having the bags/jars at the right temps will HIGHLY speed things up. Don't overheat 'em though, as that could kill the spores and invite contams.

This bag has a mind of it's own.
I was able to raise the temps some, but due to my setup, I can't really bring in anything to heat them up with directly.
The myc is tight and still healthy looking. Would it be possible to eat it? How long _can_ I leave it? It seems content to do whatever it is doing, and temps are bound to warm up even more with the weather changing... Hmmmm....
