Anyone ever met someone famous ?
I saw Oprah at a Texaco. She was getting in her limo. I didn't really meet her, just saw her...

I was a good friend of the Busch family when they still lived here in Vegas. I'm speaking of the race car drivers. Kurt Busch won the Nextel cup championship this year (his 3rd year in the series). I knew Kurt (and his younger brother Kyle) from the time they were kids and first started racing. I was actually a good friend of their father Tom.

I also used to hang out with 1992's Playboy Playmate of the Year (before she was ever famous). She was part of a group of friends I hung out with in High School.

Those would be the closest thing to 'famous' people that I ever knew.

While I was in the Marines I was stationed in London, England for 2 years and I got to meet quite a few famous people. Our commanding officer hooked it up so that we could be extras in a few movies. That was fun as hell and we got payed for it too.

While working as an extra on the movie "Band of Brothers", I got to meet the director Steven Spielberg. I wanted to meet Tom Hanks but they said he wasn't on set that day. I got to see Donnie Wahlberg do a scene but I wasn't able to meet him.

On another movie, "James Bond - Die Another Day" where I worked as an extra I was able to meet Haley Berry (way hotter in person than on T.V.). Pierce Brosnan's assistant told us that he was too busy to speak with us but I got to see him do one scene and that was pretty cool.

Also while in London I had a friend who works as a landscaper and he asked if I wanted to ride with him to this house to pick up some tools he had left there. When we got there I was like, 'Damn, who lives here?". He said it was Jimmy Page's house. I was like "No Fuckin' way!". So he introduced me to him and Jimmy was so damn cool. He invited us inside and fixed us some tea. We sat and talked for about 20 minutes. Well, I didn't do much talking. I just sat there listening to them talk as I was in awe of the fact that I was sitting in Jimmy Page's living room! That's the only time I've ever had that 'starstuck' feeling. I was at a loss for words and must have looked like a complete idiot. It's something I will never forget though.

I've seen Sean Connery walk down the street in front of the Navy building we worked in a few times. I was told he lived only a few blocks from there.
