humidity with casing

From what I am reading here and elsewhere, you need less humidy when using a casing. How much less? I have a personal size ultrasonic humidifier and digital timer and am fiddling with the settings so I have it right when I am ready to case these slowly colonizing jars.

Not too much less that it is going to dry out the casing.

The cake is drawing moisture from the casing but the casing will dry out if the air is too dry.
Try keeping the air in your terrarium at about 80 - 85%. This will also be fine for the mushrooms once they begin to grow.
