Has anyone had any expierence making mycelium water? If so, how well did it work? If it worked well, what TEK did you use? Thanks in advance.

Uncle Lazlo`s Tek works very well.

All I use.

If you start from agar, it's really handy. You can use mycellium off you other cakes also.

Just sterilize a PF style jar full of distilled water with on hole in center of lid.. I use surgical tape for a seal.
Scrape your mycellium iinto the water and shake the shit out of it.
Sterilize you needle well, and inject you substrate 1-2cc's each

If you know you're using myc water, you can leave water out when making your substrate and inject more myc water in later.

You don't have to wait for the spore water to germinate.. so your cakes colonize faster. If you use more Myc water it speeds it up even more.

nothing to it man! give it a shot.

Try Dutchie from MMA's tek... Simply get a fresh print and scrape a few spores into a sterilised jar of water with a tiny bit of rice malt...shake it up, wait for it to germiante, then hit it with a tiny bit of H.Peroxide to kill any other contams...

I used Clubb99's Honey Water Tek worked great for me.
Also i found the free honey that they give out at Mcdonalds works the best. colonized faster and did not have the yellow look that the Organic honey they say to use did.
the tek is here on the shroomery in the grow section

i have had 100 percent success with honey water.here is wat i did...i poured 8 oz. of bottled water in a jar,stirred 1 teaspoon of honey into it until it was disolved then steralized in my microwave for 2 to 4 min.(use your own discretion for this because if it gets to hot the honey will carmelize)then i let it cool for about 6 hours before innoculating 1/2 to 1 cc. of spore solution..put it in a dark place for about a week or less..i had alot of growth by the third day and even saw some after the first...peace
