did i screw up?

my casing has been sitting in the grow chamber for 2 and a half weeks and hasnt done shit, its cased with straight verm.
It got realy dry, so i did what i thought was right and added another moist casing layer over it (very little mycellium popping up at this stage), wacked some foil over it and stashed it away. The first casing layer was very thin so i dont think i put too much on. Did i do good or am i a bad cobz who needs to be bent over and spanked for being impatient?

--Computer games dont affect todays kids, if Pac-Man affected us as kids...we would all be running around in a darkened room munching pills and listening to repeaditive music......

You screwed up. You let your casing get dry. The extra layer won't hurt it, but this time give it a daily misting.
