my control was the coffee soak only, with water only simmer, this was more of a coffee simmer experiment. The casing you are seeing now is the coffee soak and simmer, it is about a week ahead of the coffe soak only. The soak only is showing the first signs of pins but my cam cant pick them up, as soon as i can see them in a pic i will post pics

is it very scientific to say any information that isnt done in a scientific manner isnt worth mentioning? i think its great that people that arnt doing control groups or perfect scientific methods are still providing me with their work... basically go fuck yourself you tool.
-------------------- "A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." -Al Einstein

If you don't have a control group, how do you know you can attribute what you have to to coffee and not to some other factors? It is clear that people can not do PERFECT scientific methods at home, but a few jars prepared at the same time with the same substrate and the same strain without coffee is not exactly what I would call sophisticated science. It is the most basic, rational approach to compare new methods to the already existing.

It's hard to retain all the stuff mentioned in this post. I read the whole thing, but that was more than a month ago. Thanks for catching that Anno.
