pasty substrate

i went by the pf tek except i replaced half of the brf with dog food to see how well it would go like that but its turned out all pasty and its pretty much unshakable so i was wondering if i put in a cup of cow dung remixed and then resterilized if it might solve the problem with hte pastyness cause im just experimenting with different substrates for right now

i can believe its not butter but why would you do that

If you are experimenting  why don't you give it a try and let us know how it go's. I am pretty sure this one has not been tried so good luck getting a direct answer?:)

ive already started resterilizing im going to let it sit for a week or two just to make sure i dont have any contams before hand but once i inject the spores ill probably be updating weekly but if its going really fast maybe twice a week

If you do not see contams after 3-5 days you can inoc (even sooner)

that soon..cool well i was thinking about why it was so pasty i realized it wasnt the dog food it was the brf i was using i havent used this kind before so i just went back to the homeground stuff and just by mixing i could tell it was better so i think thats what im going to go with but ill still keep every one updated as stated before

it worked alright wasnt really much different except i got more contams than usual and thats about all i really got out of that the two(out of 4) successful jars yielded pretty much the same as pf style jars
