Conscious Dreaming and Controlled Hallucinations [Re: Dead Shaman]
    #426926 - 10/15/01 11:38 PM (22 years, 1 month ago)

Well, I've been doing the concious dreaming techniques for about five days now and last night I actually penatrated a concious dream.  Now I've had concious dreams before, but last night I actually stayed concious from before I was asleep right into when I was dreaming!!!  I've come to discover is that the trick lies in that area when your not awake, but your not quite asleep, like when your concious but you can't move your body.  The visualization exercises help you to stay concious during the transition.  Not only that it jumpstarts the dreaming process by getting you to visual objects in your virtual time-space imagination.  I found it was exremely hard the first night to visual anything (like a triangle for instance), but it got progressevly easier each time I tried, although it is hard to keep it focused, but that the point!  Your conciousness will eventually shift until your picturing shit in you head and your not sure if your dreaming or just thinking it (well thats how it was for me at least).  Not sure, I decided to stick with it, and eventually, of all places, I find myself in a department store (THE MYSTERIES OF THE UNIVERSE UNLOCKED,    and I find myself at the mall :frown:.  Well naturaly I wanted to talk with some of my dream figures to see what my sub-concious has to offer, so I start to follow one of the Mall figures (an old lady pushing a shopping cart).  I hurried after her and greeted her, where as she turned, returned my greeting and went on her way never breaking stride.  I was quite dissappointed and thats when I lost conciousness.  I hope my next voyage will be more adventurous.

Well, anyway, sorry for that one big paragraph, and here's that link again as to the fact that it's been buried beneath the re-accuring themes of pet's and extra-terestials http://www.dog.net.uk/claude/dreams.html
(not that I have anything against pets or aliens - I love my cat  )
