From a town near Toluca, sold me as derrumbes (carulescens) but probably Ps. Muliercula
Sadly the pics aren't so good, but i'll go again this weekend (hopefully) to buy some more.
BTW those are reaaaaaaaally good, last time i ate 6 grams fresh and had a nice level 3 (soft), mellow and calm, and visual too....
look out for new pics soon!!!!
mmm i almost forgot....MJ what do you think they are???

Do you know what type of habitat they were growing in?
It's great to see some of the more exotic species popping up here at the Shroomery.Please.....more pics, if possible.

In the 3rd pic, all the way to the right, there seems to be a few Ps. zapotecorum, the rest appear to be maily Ps. caerulescens(derrumbes) I'm not very familar with Ps. muliericula, but they could be some in there too. Personally, I think alot of other species are actually Ps. caerulescens, the books even say it has many forms, shapes, and colors. They all grow in disturbed clay grounds and look very simialr, have similar potency, and even smell similar. Either they are all seperate or they are all forms of caerulescens.

Hi, well the images are not so clear but I would say they are probably derrumbes since there are two main species of P. caerulescens and five variations in the two species.
The ones I have seen were much bigger. I'll see if I can find an imae to post here in a few minutes.

Well looking in my files I think they are derrumbes.
Here are four images form my files of derrumbes.
This one is from one of R. Gordon Wasson's trips to Oaxaca in 1955.
This image below is one by Gast?n Guzm?n from Huautla de Jimenez.
THis one is by Roger Heim's group of scientists in his paris laboratory with in vitro cultivated Psilocybe caerulescens variation negripes. Notice how some of the older specimens alol of a sudden turn up resembling Psilocybe cyanescens.
And finallly I received this postcard from Milo, a person who went to Thailand and Cambodia with me last fall.

by the way if you are willing to spend more time in mexico and could stop by the state of colima i could show you some secret fields where i gather p. mexicana and some others

doo, those grow in the woods around the nevado de toluca , i think at 2500-3000 meters altitude.
quite sure that are wood decomposers, but don't know if primary or secundary...MJ can help about this i think
Got some prints too but are gone...next time...
i'll be going to huautla and some other places in august...

Thanks for the info CLub99. As for the prints, as long as you got to take some, and someone got some, that's cool. Gotta spread this wonderful species around. I'd like a print myself if you ever get the chance again and you have enough to share.

WEll I forgot I had dozens in amn old file of both B & W and in color.
Here is one of Wasson, Singer, Palacios and others from 1955 in Huautla, Oaxaca with more than a few derrumbes
