Does anyone know how this contamination starts???
    #359974 - 07/24/01 10:51 AM (22 years, 4 months ago)

Hi all,
does anyone here know how the pinkish/red contamination starts? I lost 6/12 of my jars to this and was wondering how it could've been avoided. Much help and information would be appreciated.

Back to the drawing board!

If it was one of those SC syringes then all you need to do to stop it is get a clean spore syringe...worked for me. :)> I don't see how you would get 6 uncontaminated out of 12 from the same syringe though. It may not have been the syringe in your case if it was the same one used to knockup all 12 jars. In that case just be cleaner...sterilize longer...torch the needle between jars..etc ..etc.
