in or out?

i just made my new incubation chamber and i stole an indoor/outdoor digital temperature guage to go with it. theres a little sensor connected to a wire which i put in my chamber and is what is supposed to tell the temperature in there, but i cant figure out if that sensor is made for the outdoor or the indoor mode? i think theres another sensor in the digital temperature guage itself (for one of the modes) and the other sensor (in the chamber) is for anothr mode. does anyone have any experience with these?
