I too saw this posted elsewhere. Guzm?n also had it online until this summer when he began the rewrite with many new species forthcoming in the newer edition. He took his book off the web.
This original had many errors and mis-spelled words (or Typos) throughout the text.
Hopefully those will all be recorrected in the new version. I am not sure of the release date for the newer book but i will ask Gast?n in a day or so.
have a shroomy day and thanks for putting the url here.

Saw that you said (nearly) the same earlier in the thread. Do you know if he plan to release the new edition online as well?

Other then the fame of discovering a new species and documenting it, is there any perks to having a mushroom named after you? Say i spend my days out in the field hunting and documenting....Instead of working and making money. Do i get any cashout of it? I know i get "paid" in other ways though...

People who n have mushrooms named after them or by them get no monetary reward for doing so. It is a matter of academia for the person whose name appears on the end of a shroom name.
Working in this particular sundry field of education is quite extensive since it encompasses many fields of study. not just in mycology, but in philosophy, chemistry, religion, ethnobotny, cultural anthropology, psychiatric medicine, pharmaceteutical applications, etc and many more fields related to the sacred fungi or non-psychoactive species.

I would like to point out that the original plates does not have their legends as it is uploaded at the galleries under my nick, so go ahead and save them from the GGuzman folder.

A few of the images hosted at imageshack is gone(the thumbs to the images gone is still up).
However I now got the book by someone friendly (expect pages 0-200) so I should not complain.
If anyone post a zip with the images I can make a noneOCRed PDF of them.

Like you Blue Meanie, we will jut have to wait and see.
I do know that the first edition the spelling weas the worst ever. Even incorerect English throughout the confusing pages.
I asked him to let me review the original years ago but he said that was taken care of and then lol! the many mistakes and typos throughout the text.
I am hoping this will be in a better order.
Still, my bibliography does much justice to those intereted in their studies.
It is now over 2700 references and growing. I also have a paper with Guzman and Sihanonth on Cambodia shroom species I found coming in the next issue of the International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms and later a larger paper, piossibly in Eleusis with DNA, Chemical Analysis, SEM, Cultivation and etiology of species in Southeast ASia.
