colonizing jars...help please

what are the ideal settings for temp/light/humidity(i imagine humidity doesnt matter much cause its in a jar, but if it does help there)/etc. Where should I put the jars? It's a half pint pf tek with a filter disc on, help me please! :)

84-86 degrees. In a dark place. Humidity not a problem at this stage if they are in their jars. Just look in on them every 3-4 days to see growth. It's a fun stage of the process.

. To speed up the process, the inside of the container optimally should be 80-84 degrees. This can be accomplished with a heating pad or water bed heater on the lowest setting placed underneath the container, or by keeping container in the warmest location in the home. You just want to keep the jars above 60 degrees (slows growth to a standstill) and below 90 degrees (thermal death above that mark).

The temperature should be between 80-84*F for fastest growth. Humidity oustide of the jars makes no difference, but if your jars are too dry, a humid environment wouldn't hurt. Preferably no light (light is a signal it is time to fruit) otherwise light really doesn't matter.
