chocolate mushrooms

anyone got any suggestions to making musshroom chocolates? i was thinking of melting the chocolate, mixing in mushroome (dried, lots of small pieces, dust). any ideas welcomed.

I grind up my shrooms into a fine powder with a coffee grinder. I use ordianry milk chocolate not cooking choclate.
Pour some boiling water into a glass bowl. Put the chocolate into a second smaller bowl and immerse this in the larger bowl of water, the hot water surrounding the chocolate will melt it. Pour the powdered shrooms into the melted choclate and mix well. Pour the still melted choclate into moulds. I use ordinary ice trays as molds. I get about 2.5 g of cubes for every chocolate "ice"block size. You cannot taste the shrooms at all. Pure pleasure ! The choclate also seems to enhance the shrooms somehow. Have fun !

What do you think, can eating chocolate before/during a shroom-trip reduce the probability of a bad trip?

I have this idea simply because chocolate makes you feel comfortable, and gives some kind of cosy-yummy-loving feeling through the belly...

like anything, if you believe in it strongly enough it will definitely work.
I think this one is worth a tester though.

Around here in CT a friend of my was selling "pops" which is basically choclate shrooms theres around 2.5grams in each one supposedly however this can be dangerous because you can get ripped off easily or you dont even know whats in them shrooms or they could be some deadily poisonous mushroom or other substance - Also they cost around 25 dollars for one! so its basically 2.5 grams for 25 where you could maybe get an eigth of raw shrooms for that price.
If you buy them from a trusted friend though it isnt risky, (if you really trust the person). I've eaten choclate shrooms couple times and the taste is great actually i mean yeah you get that after taste from the good mush, but the intial first taste is all choclate and it hides them. After that sit back relax and enjoy the ride.

Argh forgot to answer your question about the trip well for me I personally did not have a bad trip but Ive only done choclate shrooms twice and it was just a regular mush. trip to me the choclate didnt seem to make a difference, the only thing it really affected was the taste basically and you could possibly get nausea from the choclate mixed with shrooms but that didnt happen in my case.

this sounds like a cool thing to try so last night I made 2 choclate cubes'ies
I will be trying them this weekend thanx for the idea .they come out of the ice tray alot easyier then i thought

THAT'S it....as soon as harvest time rolls around I'm making up a batch of shroom-filled chocolates. :) I look forward to a test run with these bad boys since I'm a bit of a chocolate fiend anyway....and I love my mushrooms more than 90% of the...anything you might think of...hehe.
