i am planning on making an incubation chamber by taking a large tupperware container, making an airtight lid, make holes on the sides that i will replace with pieces of a vacuum cleaner bag, and then putting an airpump in there with an airhose going out. the only problem with that is i need some sort of way to raise the temp in there. will a back heater pad work? i heard you can make something with an aquarium heater but i dont know how id do that. the temp has been around 80 here also so im not even sure if i need one, but i usually have the fan going and its gets pretty chilly at night. with my past experiences of groing it took alot longer than id prefer to get 100% colonized. so my final question is will the heater make that much of a difference or will the constant moving clean air setup im making work good enough. i would also appreciate it if someone good tell me how to heat my incubation chamber with an aquarium heater. (for when ill be cultivating in the winter)

The heating pad should be fine for incubation chamber. I feel that you will not be able to raise the temperature enough at night with the aquarium heater.

my gorilla freind uses a glass pickle jar, thats tall enough for an a aquarium heater to fit in then cuts a hole in the lid big enough in diameter for the aquaruim heater to fit, making sure the minimum water level on the heater will be covered when the jar is full of water then runs a bead of silicone around the lid top and bottom. fill jar with water, screw on lid/heater unit,
adjust temp and wallah ! he also puts this in a large cooler.
works real good even in winter(temps in my gorilla freinds treehouse in winter are around 65-68 degrees but not in the cooler nice and toasty 84 degrees.
hope this helps. Personally i would be a little leary about a heating pad it states right on the box, ( the brand i have anyhow ) that it should not be left unattended ! But thats me !
that would suck have your god damn house burn down then be charged with manufacturing a narcotic !
