Okay, I added this subject to the wiki, but it seems to have many broken links and problems right now... Anno is working on it.
Anyway, the jist of it is... When you're at the 2 hour mark (the peak of your trip) RE-DOSE!!! Let's say you did 4 grams 2 hours ago and you're in a level 3.5 - 4.5 peak... Now do another 4 grams or even 5!
WOO HOO!! Your peak increases and stays WAY longer!!
I've done this the past two times I tripped (with a bud who did the same and got the same results).
RE-DOSING WORKS, my friends!! I had the two longest and best shroom trips of my life!!
When the second dose kicks in, you're in a whole new trip! Totally AWESOME.
I'm SO glad I decided to test this... After all I'd heard about "instant tolerance" and "it's a waste to eat more". BULLSHIT!!!

Yeah, I posted on Christmas Eve my experiment with redosing. It certainly does work. I doubled my dose though.

I started with 5 grams @ 5:22pm, ate 5 more @ 7:10pm and 4 more @ 9:10pm...
I was peaking from 6:15pm 'til well after 1:30am, then I came down as usual, over about a 2 hour period.
Totally awesome trip experience... Best of my entire tripping career.

Totally and completely SANE and FUN!!
I love being at a high level 4 (like 4.7) for as long as 6 hours or so.
Problem is I begin to run out of the best music and have to resort to second choice stuff.
Or just go back and replay the very best stuff again... It's all good.

tolerance builds up over a day or so :0), it's good though coz you can lengthen ur trip! on my 1st eva trip that worked i ate 40grams then bout hour n a half away ( i was so excited coz it never worked on me before) i ate the other 40 grams hahahaha it hits u if u do the 2nd does to soon and u go through a small period of SUPER PEAK lol this is where the chemicals from both doses are both in ur brain at the same time i spose! but the stuff thats was in there 1st obviously gets fitered out 1st, i think anyways :P

Yes, my digital level meter has been working well for over 4 years or so...
In fact, if I know my particular batch of shrooms well enough, I can predict the level (by dose) to within 1/8th of a level before ingestion.
I like to get as close to level 5 as possible without stepping through the doorway.
I've been at the threshold MANY times. Never been all the way there though, even on 7 grams.

I will definitely try this next time I shroom....
last summer a bunch of my friends and I were all tripping together.... and one of my friends ate an 1/8th and then another about an hour to two later.... he was trippin way harder than the rest of us... and looked to be enjoying himself

You should try redosing with tea next time..
Well thats what im going to try..
It would kick in faster and be easier on the stomach because having a total of 8-10 grams of cubes in my tummy doesnt sound so appealing.

Sure you haven't inadvertently stepped through cause seven grams of some real good cubensis mushrooms would probably drag you kicking and screaming through the doorway. Besides, there is only you on the other side. Don't put so much into the mystery, that gives it power over you.
And re-dosing probably works in the context in which you used it, to prolong heightened effects. But, I have used re-dosing on some mushroom tea about four hours after I intially drank it and I only experienced a small amount of a buzz compared with what I got earlier. Different strokes, different folks.

When I'm ready to go for total ego death, I'll do 10 grams and completely let go in total silence and darkness. I'm just not ready to do that yet, even after tripping fo 25 years. I was just barely able to hang onto myself on the 7 gram dose... Had I removed my headphones, I'd have drifted off to another plane. I probably should have... There's always another time to experience that though.

Four hours was too long to wait to re-dose and IMHO, tea is probably the weakest way to trip on cubensis. I use the coffee grinder/stir into juice method... Wham, bam, 20 minutes to OEV's.

I can vouch for his method, it's really ano brainer when you think about it. It has the quick come up of tea, without any loss in potency... and you don't have to chew them.

Just around christmas i ate 5.2g with a friend, and about 2 hours later i munched another gram with noticable effects, and a couple hours later another 2.2g and i definately experienced a super peak after about 3.5 hours which lasted 45 minutes to an hour with a long come down.

Believe me, you don't need ten grams at all to reach ego loss.
Visuals are wrapping paper, they distract you from what is really going on. Pay more attention to yourself. Your mind is the final doorway, and that door leads to an infinite amount of others.
Yeah, I guess I hafta agree with you that tea is a weak way to dose. It does come on rather quickly, IMO, as quick as your Wham, bam 20 minutes.But it doesn't last at all.
You ever try shredding the shrooms in your teeth and holding it all in your cheeks and ingesting as much as you can sublingually. You will trip quicker than your juice method, I guaruntee it!
