i inoculated my jars over a weak ago and there is no sign of colinization...what could this be? temp, too moist substrate (it is pretty moist- i think i might have added too much water)...or am i just being anxious- it is relativly normal too take a while to start

you couldve done alot of things wrong, give me more of a detailed summary of exactly what you did. but im pretty sure they take more than one weak to start germinizing without a heater or anything.

did you sterilize them? how hot does the heater get? it might of killed the spores (if you even innoculated). if you did sterilize them did you put in the spores when the tupperware things were still warm? the heat might of killed the spores. how many cc's did you use on each "tupperware thing" ? shit, tell me how these tupperware things were made!! how big are they? did you use a layer of dry vermiculite?

water should be about equal to the brown rice in parts. Also, get them away from the little heater. If you don't have a room temp warm environment then leave them alone, they will still colonize (unles you live in the subartic)

Also, give it some more time. I have had strains take two weeks to start showing signs of colinization
