Everytime you fan, just shake the lid off away from the chamber. If you are fanning enough, the condensation on the lid wont build up enough.

I read somewhere that you can rub crisco (cooking fat/grease) on the lid and condensation wont form. Im not sure exactly what it was, do a search for it.

Yes, Ive had water drops ruin nice developing pins.I rubbed Vaseline all over my lid to prevent water droplets from forming. It worked.

You can also reduce water formation by adding some form of insulation to the lid, or stopping saturateing your tanks. (You have exceded your 100% when you have moisture on your walls, or the outside temp is a lot colder.)

Add a fish-tank air-pump to add some fresh/dry air to the tanks. Or you can increase the temp outside the tank to be equal or greater then the inside of the tank. (I don't like to heat internally, because I like to see my fruits.)

Never worried about it myself , what few drops fall will not hurt the casing unless we are talking about a major deludge of water raining down on them .
Mushies love the rain
If concerned , just open lid at a 45 degree angle and have piece of paper towel in hand , and place at bottom and wipe up excess then before it falls .

PS You read the info about rain shields that cake makers like to use  :smirk:
