I've never personally tried smoking shrooms...i've heard mixed reports, but nothing really positive...
what if you used a vaporizer method? like a weed vaporizer or maybe hot-knifing?
anybody have any experience or thoughts on this??

Plus vapors are to burn THC in cannibis...Pysilocyben is defiently not THC...:)
Good luck, and there are some type you can peel the skin off but you need to know what ur doing b4 u try...

i think heat only breaks down psilocin because shroom tea uses heat and i have tripped damn hard off tea so yeah
don't bother smoking it

RR is correct, But illregardless, that only type that i;ve ever heard of smoking is the kind an african tribe use as a religious experience....Aminita Muscura....But i woulnd't try to eat it...EVER, it's not what you'd call user friendly.Gl

Anyone who tells you you can't smoke mushrooms hasn't tried vaporizing pure psilocybin.

because flame is that hot 212 F. I smoked shitloads of mushrooms one night and did not get high. this is before I learned that heat kills it. heat : the ultimate buzzkill.

This tells you at what temperature psilocybin melts. Bear in mind that the temps are in Celcius.

How do you know what you got was psilocybin? Maybe you had dmt or something like that.

I didn't say I had any. But I do say that if you haven't tried it, then you have no right to say it cannot be done. The concept of vaporizing psilocybin, which is -relatively simple to extract from mushrooms, is not so far-fetched. I bet at least 1 person on this website has tried it.
If I had a ton of mushrooms, I would do just that. Alas, I don't.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

Ok now we're just arguing for the sake of arguing. Of course vaporizers produce heat. The (properly applied) heat then melts the crystals, which turn into a vapor that you inhale. Just like smoking any other crystals. For example, with DMT or 5-Meo-DMT, the key is to melt the crystals instead of burning them (that I do have experience with). Anyways, I'm not going to continue talking about something I don't have personal experience with - (smoking 4-Ho-DMT).
However, if at any time in the future I should try vaporizing psilocybin, I assure you that I will report my findings immediately.
