well my friend sent me print and i made syringe but this dowsn't look like my other jars they where whiter so is this myo growth or not [image]

My cakes looked like that, I seperated them from the others and when i opened them up, *plugs nose*, Yeah, it was bad, that doesn't look like healthly myc. to me, but then again maybe myc. looks a bit different between strains....i donno, good luck

Agar, the jars in question aren't grain.

That is most definitely not cobweb mold or any contam, it is simply wispy mycelium that is very common in varying ratios of Verm/Brf/Water when attempting the PF Tek.

I had the exact same results many, many times in my early days with the PF tek.

Never done or handled a PF jar in my life. So, I did not have anything to compare it to. Compared to colonization on grains, it sure looks wispy & weak. I have had a "cobweb" outbreak before & that is closer to what it looks like, to me. I hope I am wrong.

cobweb mold is a mycelium, just not the one thats desired, its far too light to be
healthy and even with weak spores in PF substrate I would have had something a bit
more dense where the initial signs of germination were... I recomended waiting
a few days because cobweb will take over a great deal of the jar by then...
