first timer/ possible contaminations

My cakes have already sprouted shrooms and they are now close to 7 or 8 inches tall.I have even picked a couple. I got the spores from "Spore works Our choice starnd." My question is concerning a light blue color that part of the cakes is turning. Is this contamination or am i safe to consume? Also should i watch this to make sure it doesn't change any other color?

Is probably just bruising. Sometimes the mycelium get bruised when you pick the mushies off and it turn blue. That's normal.

Also, the cakes will turn blue as they dehydrate...If your flush is nearly complete you can peel it with a very sharp knife and put it back in the jar, fill it with water, and refrigerate for 6-24 hours, depending on how dry it is, which you can tell by weight. If dry, it will be very lightweight.
