problem with amp
    #3568164 - 01/01/05 02:41 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

Well I bought a new amp not too long ago and it's been working out good. I just got a multi effects processor as well. This is where the problem comes in. After using the multi effects processor, I unplugged everything and put my guitar directly into the amp without the effects processor hooked up. The amp still sounded as though I have the effects on. After that I had the processor on again and the batteries died for it so I hooked the guitar back up directly to the amp and now have no sound. I've checked all my connections and volume etc.. What could be wrong? It's like the amp is holding the last used effect in it's memory.

Well I'm not sure about whether or not I've got active or passive pickups. With actives there's a preamp etc housed in the guitar correct?
Anyway the amp is a Fender Frontman's amp, 38w. Pedal is a Guitar AX1G Toneworks by Korg.
