I just sterilized my jars using the rye tek on the myco-magic filter disc web sitr. anyone ever try this? it looks like there may be a bit of water pooling in the bottome, i dont know if it's not much or not "looks like not much to me but i dont wana wait spores. The top looks a little dry so maybe just shake it? Am i in good shape or do i need to redo it? The jars are still hot out of the presure cooker if that has anything to do with anything.

I have never found that boiling the rye before was necessary. What I do for quart jars is I put 1.5 cups of rye and 1.5 cups of water. I let it sit overnight and the rye should have germinated some. I drain the water that is remaining and I pressure cook for an hour. =)
