pissing me off

Well i only caught a section of this story on the morning news and i cant find an article on it online, but here goes:
there was a big coke bust in philadelphia and two men had their bail set at 1 million a piece. nothing new, but heres the kicker, the cannot be released on bail because of a law (didnt catch the name) that says that bail cannot be posted unless the person <i> PROVES that they did NOT get the money from illegal drug trafficking </i>. maybe its me, but this seems to go completely against our system of guilty until proven innocent.

maybe i missed this before, but does anyone know if this has been challenged in court, if not, im going to bring this up to the ACLU or DRC. any thoughts?

I had never heard of that. But if those are the facts (you did say you only caught half the story) it definitely infringes upon the notion of innocent until proven guilty... That is really fucked up.
