Has anyone ever tried eating mycelium before it is cased? I am wondering if it would have any psycadelic effects. If so, you could grow endless amounts with no fear of the man.

I'e heard of people comparing it to licking a candy bar wrapper. There is a extract tek using cranberry juice but really, don't be so impatient. The mycellium is just as illegal as the shrooms so there is no advantage. And the disadvantage is simply that you will destroy a cake that would supply with way more 'magic' if left to produce shrooms.
