 Michael Moore - Dude, Where's My Country?

Hi
I'm currently reading this book, I'm only half way through so far, and I have to say it makes pretty shocking (not to mention entertaining) reading. I've always had contempt for government and authority, although none of their fuck ups seem to have had a directly noticeable affect on how my life runs, I guess I'm easily influenced.
This book is valuable ammunition for those who share my contempt for corrupt authoritarianism and government, and I recommend all those who feel the same, hell, even those who don't, to read this, as it's a real eye-opener.
Anyone read/reading this book? Any views, opinions? I'd like to hear!
If this needs to be moved to PA&L, please do so, I imagined I'd get a more interested and diverse response here.

I just barely got through the first chapter before putting it down and saying, "God, Michael Moore is such an ignorant douche."

Not all liberals are as bad as Moore. I've read two of Al Franken's books, and find him to be entertaining and thought-provoking.

How can anyone hate liberals? Unless you're using the term "liberals" to describe a set of people with a specific political ideology seperate from the general idealogy of being liberal.

"Liberal" is a term that has come to mean different things over time, as it basically means "pushing forward," no matter what the new "forward" thinking is at the time. I'm a liberal in the classic sense of the word, the way that Adam Smith and Thomas Jefferson were liberals. In modern days, the term has come to mean quasi-socialism, and in that sense I am not a liberal, and prefer instead to refer to myself as libertarian.
