when ever the creator sees it fit... in laymans terms-- whenever i can come across it. it's almost been a year... i hope it changes soon-- i'm taking this earthly life too seriously again.

For a while, I used to twice or thrice a month... I've learned though....
Now it's more like three or four times yr, on special occasions. Concert, soltices, etc...

Whenever mushrooms are readily available for a decent price. So maybe 2-3 times a month in the winter, and maybe once or twice during the three summer months.

Well here's my ideas.
Last time I ventured, I outdid myself. Did about a gram less than usual and it sent me soaring. I'll chill for about 2-3 months. At 40 yrs old, it's a bit much on the old ticker!
The reason that I found it more intense was that it was during the day. I usually trip at night while the misses is asleep. I have found that night tripping is more mellow. The harsh realities of "sunny day" tripping is that the magnifying glass effect kicks in. Any disorder-dirtyness, (not that I'm a slob), is visually intensified. I also find that the potential for self examination, both philosophical and spiritual, are also greatly increased. At night, visual play, music and entertainment are the factors that I try to play into.
I had it rough for about 2 hours (getting grounded), during the day. A cold shower, and some xanax calmed me down, for I was loosing it for a while. BTW, I'm no lightweight in this realm, having been a post 60's-hippie in my youth. I've experienced REAL lsd, not the crap on the market today. Another factor was being alone. I always trip alone, and this day trip had me a little too "existential". Angst, also known as anxiety, put me through the ringer. I felt that I couldn't escape myself, and being alone didn't help. :)

I trip too much (once, sometimes even twice a week). I'm not-so proud to announce that I'm taking a vacation from mind bending, do to limited shroom supplies. *sigh*

I haven't had a problem with not being able to trip, but the trip itself seems too "normal" when I do it too much.

Really? I ate seven dry grams of subaeruginosa the day after tripping on Ps. Cyanescens and I barely felt anything - i also once dropped a trip the night after a mushie trip and had similar crappy results...

a 3 day gap in your tripping time should be ample time for your tolerance to bounce back.

3-days is a good margin for tripping in a short term spurt...like once friday, then sunday or something. On the other hand, I've found that with repeated weekly dosing, after the fourth week there begins a pretty noticeable downturn in quality of your trips.
MJShroomer suggested 10-12 days, and so I kept it to a two week interval. Besides getting more excited for the actual occasion, the tolerance is always back to normal after those two weeks.

1-2 each weekend.
I am just about to swallow the remainder of a last months harvest, I'm down to 1.3 grams! (the nitty-gritty)
i go to techno clubs or raves every weekend and sometimes blues bars. Supprisingly, I have gotten WAY better offers at the blues clubs, some very high grade blotter (VERY HIGH) and psilocybin capsules too!

probably average once or twice every couple of months...
for a month or so it seemed like i was doing it every week though and i definately lost touch with some reality...
when i look back on it, it seems like i was visiting another country or something in that time frame...

i used to trip about every weekend for the longest time. i gotta side with lozt soul these days about letting the trip come to you. i'd say once every few months now, it seems to be a much better trip.
