im a total newb and im sure im going to have a lot of silly questions for you guys,so far ive had remarkable beginners luck having ordered spores from pf and following their tek closely and its day 15 now and im only a few days from having 100%colonisation in all jars .i used 1cc per jar and have left the 4 holes taped up due to fear of contamination .ive read here that letting the jars get air will really speed things up so i was wondering how many of you have tried the micron filters .any coments about those filters would be greatly apreciated.can you even use these filters on widemouth jars?thanks in advance

Good job with getting this far with no contams!

As far as the filter disks go, they work great! They fit widemouth jars just fine. The only thing I would recommend with the filters during incubation is that you need to put them in a humidified invironment. Your terrarium using one of the perlite humidification teks will work. Good luck!

Welcome and your doing better than I did...
I used pint jars though and took at least a month to fully colonize though Im hoping to improve upon that also with some micron disks.
