i agree the US should send more, but fuck the UN for telling our government to raise MY taxes to up the donations!
and how many of these countries (including the EU) ever fucking donate to the US when major hurricanes, floods or tornados occur here every year?

the US have FEMA, these countries don't. hence not many countries having to donate aid, but maybe there are people who do donate to charities when natural disasters occur in the US.
the US isn't the richest country in the world, Norway is.
in regards to the rest of the world acting like the prodigal son sometimes...maybe we should tell Dubya to quit asking for aid from other countries to stop the war on terrorism cause seriously, is it working?

You CAN'T Stop Terrorism. As long as there is civilized man. There will always be someone who want's to change everything. America created terrorism by just being an ass. They don't give a shit about civilians in other war torn contries. They'll bomb an area in Cuba killing hundreds of innocoents just to get rid of a Drug growing area.

I guess the US added $20 Million that that $15 Million - but claimed that it was not at all related to the UN's remark of "stingy"

How much financial support would America receive in the instance of a major natural disaster from other nations? I bet not as much as we would be able to provide for them. A Thai baht(unit of currency) is so weak against the American dollar it wouldn't do much. 1 million baht sounds like a lot, but wouldn't go far here at all. Bush should send $35 million to the coastal States of the U.S. to develop an early warning system or something to help Americans, so we as a country can continue to help out the rest of this mooching world.
