i say that the negativity comes from the ego, and thats what the mushrooms fight to show you real truth. IME i noticed the ego likes to throw whatever it can at yu to try and 'survive'/stay in control, and thats why we sometimes feel so shitty before total ego loss or just having a good trip. Like the ego fights so it doesnt die... without you feeding into it, it isnt even real, only positivity really exsists, the negative is human created.

its really straight up biased to think that way of the body i think. I mean, it was to help you breathe, so i see no problem there. the ego just wanted to make you feel like you were in the wrong. to me that is equal to someone refusing to take their medication for beign depressed or have some sort of mental disorder because they feel it is altering their true self(instead of altering the body externally, its altered internally) and the meds could be viewed as a bad thing, but really we know they help a great deal in healing.
