One problem with blaming Bush for everything is something like this: http://www.totse.com/bbs/Forum14/HTML/003502.html Bush bashers don't seem to be aware of the fact that the federal government is really led by three branches of government: the executive (president at top), legislative (Congress) and judicial (Supreme Court at the top), yet Bush gets all the blame. This just shows the Bush bashers' ignorance. Also, only Congress can pass laws, not the president.

AL JAZERAH reported today that 4000 Jews left the area a day before the tsunami.

After some careful consideration I think my vote might end up going to pinksharkmark.. though something tells me him and Great_Satan might be plotting such a scheme in an effort to decieve us from the actual truth which looks to be more along the lines of a cover-up involving the infamous retread who reliable sources told reporters was and probably still is intimately involved with one of the most prevelant yet largely overlooked terrorist organizations on the face of the planet..known to many as Al CIAda. Sources say that retread, during his routine delivery/pickup flights in and around the Bangkok area in his government-owned jet aircraft, dropped a nuke deep in the waters around the coast of Indonisia and flew back to America helplessly grinning and giggling like a mad man as he looked out the rear-view watching the land shake as massive amounts of water rose up in the distance behind him violently swallowing coastlines and claiming the lives of thousands.. eh..what ever happened to retread anyway?

SOURCE please. Sounds like bullshit, I read Al Jazeera everyday, and as popular as the speculation is that they pump conspiracy theories and propaganda, it's bullshit. They're still in competition with CNN and BBC.

Al Jazeera doesn't say that Jews left the "scene of the crime." Muslim leaders say it and then the rest of the Muslims buy it like fiends buying crack.

First, we're talking about Al Jazeera not Muslims.
Second, there are no "Muslim leaders" that Muslims identify with. Muslims hate their Presidents, Prime Ministers, and Kings with a passion.

Oh sorry, I meant the clerics. Some cleric started talking about how Jewish and American armies were marching towards Mecca and then the crowd went NUTS and stormed an American Embassy, I forgot which country though.

And they can't bash them for fear of being labeled an apostate or infidel.

Apparently you're unaware of Sahab 13, which is the Muslim April's Fools counterpart.

It's mostly Muslims that accuse their Presidents, Prime Ministers, and Kings of apostasy and infidelity.

if any governments are to blame, it's those of india, sri-lanka, thailand, indonesia, etc... there were studies dating back at least 3 years about the significant possibility of this happening. none of the governments made any preparations. then again, they are all mostly poor countries that need to focus their governmental resources on immediate humanitarian issues, so i guess it is understandable that they didn't prepare for the remote possibility of an earthquake leading to a tidal wave... the only way that any "blame" could be pointed at the west would be a long argument along the lines of "the west historically has robbed south-east asia, thus they are economically in the dumps and have many humanitarian problems, thus they have to spend their money on those immediate problems, thus they couldn't prepare for this happening." in that sense, some responsibility can be pointed at the west for creating a situation where south-east asia was not as able to prepare for this as they could have been. however, i don't think anybody here is silly enough to believe that the earthquake itself was a result of anything but natural tetonic plate movements....

Those governments might have been able to do something if that debt to the first world wasn't lingering.

I think a little more compassion for those affected would be more appropriate here than mindless comments against percieved 'liberals' that dislike Bush.
