Liquid Mycelium Question
    #3548606 - 12/27/04 03:18 PM (19 years, 3 months ago)

Does mycelium in liquid look like little white puffy clouds? lol, I only made 2 jars and inoculated 1 cc per jar and one jar has puffy cloud balls floating around. Is that right?

I'll take a pic and post it lol

thanks for posting a clear picture, its not often when a pic tha tis posted here can explain what you are talking about. Those 100% mycelium balls. The spores clump together and germinate. The round balls is the mycel growing outwards from the center. Shake it up or give it a swirl and break those up. You stuff IS REady to use. There is plenty of mycel in there to use. Just give it a swirl first

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

What are you growing those in? Sugar water?

That's not agar, is it? (Sorry, never seen that before!)
