2nd Flush??

Whats up everyone. I don't know if you remember me posting MY VERY FIRST FLUS **ever** last week (EQ)
But here are a couple pic!
My problem is my second flush consists of only 3 mushies they are getting a bit bigger and seem just a few days from maturity?? Why is this flush signifigantly less? I dunked and rerolled. When i rerolled there was a signifigantly larger amount then the first time? Could taht be a factor? Any suggestions would be great on how i can prevent or combat this for the thrird flush. It is on 12/12 light and is in a grow chamber with a tropic aire system and has a layer of perlite in the bottom and i fan every 6-8 hours. Thanks

You dunked and rerolled, great. The reason you are having a smaller yield for your second flush is because of the lack of nutrients that were consumed during the first flush. There is no way to replenish these nutrients as the mycelium network is in a fruiting stage and is no longer consuming food (nutrients).

Well thats what i figured just hoped to be able to increase a bit. I had a great first flush of the cake with a whopping 5.6 dry grams!!!! So can i expect not to get another flush? If so it will probly be one measley mushie??
I also have a couple of pf casing in a fruiting chamber seperate from the cakes which consists of a small rubbermade container with perlite on teh bottom which i spray daily i was told they shouldn't be with the cakes which need higher humidity. Well they been in there for a week with 12/12 light and only one of the casing is showing 2 very small pins? Should i try to raise the humidity? Its at about 80? Thanks.

1!! They were pretty damn big! But it is now only producing 3 mushies??? And any flushes thereafter seem to be out of the question. The 1st Flush must have moaged all the nuts??

if you want to up your yeild a bit, after the first flush on several of your cakes, say 3 or so, pick off all aborts, then dunk the cakes for 2 hours, take them out of the water and case them, they usually don't contam and if they do it is always after the casing produces the first flush, which for 3 cakes is usually 100g wet of 10g dry, hope this helps
this is what i did when my cakes stopped producing any fruit, now i only do casings, cakes don't make the cut as far as i'm concerned

Thanks for the kind words guys!! My question is when you say you pic the aborts then dunk? How do i do that when i alredy have other mushies on the cakes, i never notice aborts til most of the other mushies are mature? Thanks for the suggestion i'll give it a try with a little more guidance. Are you saying after the cakes have already flushed? Thanks

I pick everything at the same time should i be doing it differently in order to try his casing method? After how many flushes should i make the casing?

If you dunkl before the first flush the first flush should have the most number of fruits and highest yeild. After first flush number of fruits go down and they start getting bigger. Yeild starts dropping down.
After a few flushes on a brf+verm cake you can visibly see it shrinking and the rice is being ate up.
