misting casing with pins

would it be wise to mist a casing that just started pinning, there are also pins that are literally just starting out cause there
are tons of little white dots all over the place. what do u think?

Don't mist the pins directly, you'll get aborts that way if not careful. Fill up a syringe with water and strategically squirt around the casing layer to keep the humidity up. :syringe:

Mist your casing. Gentle misting does not cause aborts - a dry casing does. I keep the casing at near saturation until pinning starts then mist once or twice per day thereafter. Use a very fine horticultural mister (available at garden shops) and do not blast the pins at close range.

I agree shrooms love lots of moisture! (near saturation) :wink:
